Planning

Where trees are protected by a Tree Preservation Order (TPO), or they are situated within a Conservation Area we can offer advice, liaise with local authorities and apply for permission to carry out specified works on a customer’s behalf.

If necessary, we can arrange to meet with the local tree officer to discuss the proposed works in more detail.

What are protected trees?

Trees can be protected by Tree Preservation Orders if they are considered to add value, aesthetically or environmentally. They can be also be located within a Conservation Area which requires approval from the local authority for tree work to be carried out.

We are experienced in dealing with protected trees and can give honest advice on whether the work you require is likely to be approved or not.
